Anmo J Kim 김안모, Ph.D.
Principal Investigator
Anmo J Kim is an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Hanyang University in South Korea. He earned his PhD at Columbia University in 2010 and did his post-doctoral training at the Rockefeller University. He is interested in computational principles underlying sensorimotor processing in the brain of the miniature flight master -- Drosophila melanogaster. He originally majored in electrical engineering (BE at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University and MS at Seoul National University). He is currently a ChungAm Science fellow, awarded by POSCO. Outside of the lab, he likes to play tennis on good days, or enjoy museums on some other days.

Hyosun Kim 김효선
Graduate student
Hyosun Kim is currently a PhD student in the Department of Artificial intelligence. She earned her master in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Hanyang University in 2022. She earned her BS in the Department of Chemistry at Sejong University in 2018.
She likes to practice yoga, and play drum on her dayoff.
Jonathan Edward Madar
Graduate student
Jonathan Edward Madar is a Masters student in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He earned his BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of the West of England, UK. He is investigating how the visual behaviour of flies is modulated by other sensory cues such temperature or smell.
Pasan Sepala Dahanayake
Researcher
Pasan Sepala Dahanayake is a Researcher in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
He earned his BS in Animal Science and Fisheries at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2015 and MS in Veterinary Medicine at Chungbuk National University in 2018.
He is interested in bio-inspired odor sensors using Drosophila olfactory receptors.

Alumni
Hayun Park earned her BS at Kangwon National University in 2018 and MS at Hanyang University in 2020. She is interested in computational principles underlying visual neurons that intake multi-features for flexible avoidance flight. Also she is interested in bio-inspired odor sensors using drosophila olfactory receptors. During free time, she likes to go on a picnic or play League of legends.
