This past week, three members of our lab — 김효선 (Hyosun Kim), 김건일 (Geonil Kim), and Professor 김안모 (Anmo Kim) — made the long trip to the United States to attend the biennial Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) Neurobiology of Drosophila conference, held at the CSHL campus in New York!

We are proud to share that 효선 (Hyosun) was selected to give an oral presentation 👩‍🏫 on her research, while Professor 안모 (Anmo) and 건일 (Geonil) both participated in poster sessions showcasing their work.

It’s rare to find such a large conference dedicated solely to Drosophila neuroscience, and surrounded by so many like-minded researchers, our team found themselves immersed in a wealth of fascinating posters, presentations, and discussions.

Upon their return, our three adventurers brought back an infectious energy! The whole lab gathered to review the online posters and talks from the conference, sharing in their excitement and inspiration. 🔬
